The valley of Balitx is hidden behind spectacular
cliffs that render it accessible from only one side. From ‘Ses Barques’ you
follow a dirt road, which brings you to the heart of this peaceful hidden
valley. Due to a close cooperation between the estate owner of Balitx d’Avall
and the VCF, the Black Vultures find refuge here, so you can be almost sure to
spot one in the area. The impressive coastal route to Cala Tuent takes you
through a lost corner of the Serra de Tramuntana far away from the mass
tourism. A taxi will be waiting for you to take you back to Soller along
Mallorca’s most scenic mountain road.
