Holiday levels

Two different classifications of our holiday levels allow you to easily choose the one that best suited to you. You can find the classifiaction for hotel, package or excursion in the product description. Please read this information with great care since choosing a holiday level that is too difficult may result in an unsatisfactory holiday or even in injuries. If you have any doubts or questions please, do not hesitate to contact us.

Physical level

1. Paved or dirt road with no technical difficulties. Flat, short distance walks for anybody who enjoys walking.

2. Normal hiking trails, sometimes narrow and overgrown but always accessible. Intermediate hiking, length up to 12 km and altitude difference up to 350 m.

3. Trails include difficult stretches, high steps and loose stones; however no special mountaineering equipment is required. Not suitable for people with a fear of heights. Long walks with length up to 16 km and altitude difference up to 800 m.

4. Very difficult alpine landscape or torrents but accessible without mountaineering equipment. Some trails are not clear and a basic knowledge of orienteering is necessary. Only for people in good physical condition ready for a challenge, length up to 25 km and altitude difference up to 1500 m.

Comfort level

1. Only camping or mountain refuges, basic accommodation with bunk beds and shared bathroom.

2. Village hotels or simple rural hotels, with private bathroom and breakfast service.

3. High quality rural hotels with private bathrooms, swimming pool, sauna etc.

4. Top rated ecological rural hotels with wellness facilities.
