Black Vulture Conservation Foundation
The Black Vulture Conservation Foundation (BVCF) initiated the ProNature Travel project as part of it ecotourism department that supports conservation activities in Spain and the Balkan countries. 
 
 
 
 
The Mediterranean Wildlife Conservation Foundation (FVSM) manages the Son Pons centre were the BVCF and ProNature Travel have their headquarters, in addition all related to environmental education form part of their activities.
  
 
 
The Balkan Vulture Action Plan (BVAP) was developed by the BVCF to enforce the vulture population of the Balkan countries. Over 30 NGOs and institutions from 12 countries participate in the project. The Bulgaria project is support by a LIFE project until 2014.

 
Since September 2009 the fusion between the Black Vulture Conservation Foundation (BVCF) and the International Bearded Vulture Monitoring (IBM) is a fact and the new Vulture Conservation Foundation was created. The IBM does an excellent job in the reintroduction and monitoring of the Bearded vulture in the Alp region.
